Introducing the Bushido Film Bond

Bonds are £100 each (and you can take as many bonds as you wish up to the limits of the budget).The principal amount invested into a bond will be returned to you in full after 6 or 12 months (depending on the timescale of the relevant project).All funds raised through bonds are invested through Bushido into an independent trading platform.You can designate the type of bond and the creative project to benefit from your investment.Profits generated during the term of the bond may be drawn down by the creative content maker on expiry of the term as ‘equity’ in the creative project.You will receive a pro-rata share of any equity receipts from the chosen projects (in addition to the return of your initial amount invested).

Bushido Film Bonds can support the funding of a variety of creative projects: Kurious Originals, Budget Gap Funding, third-party films, TV and theatre.

How do the bonds work to support creative content makers?

Does Kurious have any creative or financial control?

Kurious only has creative and financial control over Kurious Originals.Film-makers on projects which are not Kurious Originals may therefore seek further financial support from creative tax credits or otherwise.
